Join us for an exciting journey in the form of a deep Certified Scrum Master (CSM) & agile course … where we travel and work through a project from start to finish. You’ll see the big picture, learn specific practices and start thinking and learning about how to get the best out of agile for yourself and your organisation.
About the course In this 4-day course you will, in addition to a Certified Scrum Master course, learn a wide range of valuable practices from the rest of agile that you can add to your personal Scrum and agile toolbox. You will also get a wider perspective suitable for thinking agile on an organisational level including understanding more of the management perspective.
In other words, you will be well versed in core Scrum and … much more agile!
The course will be held in English.

What our clients say about us Some comments from delegates attending Peter’s and Per-Magnus’ courses (3 from each): •‘I liked the many practical exercises and the very lively lessons!’ o Petr Bezpalec, developer, Streamserve, Prague
•‘The course exceeded my expectations and gave me a good understanding of the agile method. The best bit about the course was the opportunity to be test different tools for completing an agile project, from start to finish. I feel that I am ready to start working in an agile way and actually, even on the first day after the course, I used techniques I'd learnt during the course!‘ o Anna Ahnberg, Uppsala University, Uppsala
•‘Be sure that you are not going to get bored during the course and at some point your mind will switch to this new way of thinking. And you will stay with it forever. The exercises were interesting and the speed was just right!’ o Volodymyr Ilchenko, development manager, N-iX Newcomp, Ukraine
• ‘Thank you Pete, really enjoyed the two days, feel you encouraged great interaction’
•‘Enthusiasm of the trainer made it !’
•‘Very much enjoyed the pragmatic approach and real world application throughout the course’
Trainers The course will be taught by two experienced agile practitioners, who have seen great success as well as struggles. They are both among the few Europeans who have worked with agile approaches since the mid 1990’s..

With 25 years experience as a Project and Programme Manager / Consultant within the Public and Private Sectors, Peter has excellent experience working within very many diverse environments.
He has specialised in the agile space since 1996 and has managed the implementation of some of the largest Agile transformations in the Public and Private sector both in the UK and internationally. Per-Magnus Skoogh is a director and co-founder of mPeira (www.mpeira.se, www.mpeira.com) which delivers agile coaching and training to various customers. Per-Magnus began working with agile approaches almost 15 years ago when he began using DSDM/Atern. He has since moved on to using multi-agile approaches based on Scrum, Lean, XP and DSDM Atern. Day-to-day Per-Magnus and his colleagues help projects and organisations become more effective by using agile values and practices.
He has had an increasing interest in, and assignments focused on, the agile organization – how to make not just the projects agile – but also the rest of the organization. This means hands-on work with terms such as agile business product management, business agility and agile leadership around projects which is adds some additional benefit to the course.
Per-Magnus was on the board of DSDM for a few years, both in Sweden and the UK (the International Board). He has written a number of well-received courses in agile methods and has quite a few certifications such as Scrum Master, Certified Agile Project Leader, DSDM Atern Practitioner and Trainer, Certified Agile Master, PMI PMP and more.

DSDM is the largest of the agile approaches, and if we pick the best from it we will benefit greatly with little added work. • From XP: How the team works, core development practices, XP project management perspective, user stories and some more. No detailed programming techniques, however. • Practical experiences and learning points of the above – what to do and what do avoid.
Who should attend The course is aimed at the entire project team and anyone interested in how to make projects deliver, including project managers, product owners and anyone in some kind of leading role. You will all learn new, effective (and fun) agile practices.
The course is specifically aimed at those who want the big agile picture which includes both Scrum, lean and many more agile practices.
This means anyone with any of the following roles will benefit: • Scrum Master / Project Manager • Architects • Product owners • Development manager • Process manager / Methods Manager • Developers • Product Managers • IT managers • And more …
